Chicken lovers all over the country are gripped by the fear of "Avian Flu". Few days back there was a outbreak of gastro-enteritis in Maharashtra and a cholera outbreak in Bangalore. But none of these are as serious as a new disease that has started to affect music lovers throughout the country.
Its called the "HM Syndrome". Symptoms include:
1. Not being able to stick to one music channel for more than two songs at a stretch.
2. A phobic neurosis of things that remotely resemble a baseball cap.
3. A sudden urge to shave of that stubble that Abhishek Bachchan so very popularised.
4. Running away from the vicinity of anyone holding a microphone.
5. Rude attitude towards anyone with a nasal voice.
Though the "HM Syndrome" is not life threatening, it does take a heavy toll on your nervous system. No cure has yet been discovered, ergo prevention is better than cure.
And while the research to develop a vaccine continues, can I please request Mr. Himesh Reshammiya to stay away from our television screens for a while ?
